Prior to the 2008 African Cup of Nations (CAN 2008), the GETFund constructed a hostel on the UDS Tamale campus to accommodate tournament participants. Post-tournament, the facility was intended to serve as student accommodation. However, management and ownership transitions led to challenges in its utilization for student housing

GUSSS Hostels: Managed by the University, these hostels provide a conducive environment for academic pursuits.
